Automating operational tasks to focus on value-added activities
Managing target stock levels more frequently for reliable replenishment
Manual replenishment calculations were time-consuming, making automation essential to increase the frequency of stock target reviews and better align decisions with actual demand.
The Anaplan application designed and implemented by OneHive covers the full replenishment process: in-store assortment management, replenishment calendar planning, substitution management, and operational reporting. The solution calculates average daily sales using multiple approaches: historical data enriched with anticipation factors (seasonality, events), forecasts, or initial allocation quantities.
Target stock levels are automatically calculated and adjusted only by exception (less than 3% of results are modified by users), before being used for replenishment calculations and order generation. Integrated order tracking further strengthens operational visibility and decision reliability.
The application automates many operational tasks while preserving human expertise for high-value arbitrations.

A scalable application
From the outset, the Anaplan application was designed to evolve with future needs. Flexible logic was built in to anticipate scenarios such as the opening of local warehouses or changes in the Retail network. This approach ensures a sustainable solution capable of supporting growth and organisational transformation.
An omnichannel solution
The Anaplan application supports physical stores while also integrating Web and Marketplace inventory management. This omnichannel approach ensures consistent product availability both in-store and online, while enabling more accurate demand anticipation based on each channel’s specificities.
Strong user involvement
Beyond model development, collaboration was reinforced through the training of two users as Anaplan Model Builders. Through co-design sessions, they acquired the skills needed to evolve the application and develop new features autonomously. This approach ensures long-term sustainability and strong ownership by internal teams, supporting agility and responsiveness to future needs.
